Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a consultation cost?An initial nutritional therapy consultation, lasting two hours, costs £190. This includes preliminary health check questionnaire analysis, any necessary research and a written summary of recommendations specific to your individual health needs.
A follow up nutritional therapy consultation (recommended), lasting 45 minutes, costs £70. This includes a summary of any adjustments to your programme. Interpretation of test results may incur a separate charge, depending on test complexity.
Payment is by electronic bank transfer prior to your appointment or by cheque or cash at the time of your consultation. Debit and credit cards cannot be accepted.
If, following your consultation, you decide to undertake functional tests or to buy nutritional supplements, payment is made directly to the appropriate supplier. A discount on the retail price of supplements is available for clients. Any practitioner rebates on tests or supplements are used to invest in your therapist's continuing professional development.
What information will I receive at a consultation? After a detailed health history has been taken and the reasons behind your current state of health have been explained to you in a functional context (please see the 'Nutritional Therapy' page of this website for details), a suitable dietary programme is discussed and agreed.
If time allows, you will be given a one day diet plan to take away with you. A more detailed list of dietary guidelines, together with details of any appropriate nutritional supplements, will be posted or emailed to you within two working days of your appointment.
